Horses
We have five horses, and that is
all we have room for right now.
Four are full size and one is
a miniature. Here are their stories.
Willow
Willow is a thoroughbred gelding about 18-20 years old. Like all new horses to the program, he is very high energy. It takes some time for a horse to realize that their life is so easy now. They are used to having more asked from them. He is calming down now and has been OK'ed for accomplished students to start working with. He still lives in his own stall most of the time because he and Stretch are still arguing about who is in charge of the herd. He has become the instant favorite of many of our volunteers because he is so pretty . If you give him a good hard chest rub, he will do his camel impression for you.
